Penilaian Harapan Pasien Pelayanan Swamedikasi Apotek

Abstract

Background:: The use of self-medication (self-medication) is widely practiced throughout the world. Self-medication is part of the community's efforts to maintain their health. In practice, self-medication can be a source of drug-related problems due to lack of knowledge about drugs and their use. Therefore, the role of pharmacists is needed in recommending over-the-counter drugs to help patients overcome their health problems.

Purpose: To determine the patient's assessment and expectations of pharmacist services related to self-medication in pharmacies. This type of research uses.

Methods: Non-experimental with a cross sectional approach through consecutive sampling data collection techniques. Data were collected using a questionnaire to patients who received self-medication services at three pharmacies in the city of Bandung during March-April 2018.

Results: Shows that the average patient satisfaction with self-medication services in pharmacies is 77.5%. And patient expectations for pharmacists in self-medication services are to be able to provide the right drug choice solutions, ensure that medicinal products come from reliable and good quality sources, and must cooperate with other health workers in identifying and solving health problems.

Conclusion: From the research, it can be concluded that pharmacists get a good perception value regarding their role in self-medication services in pharmacies.

Pendahuluan: Penggunaan obat-obatan dengan pengobatan sendiri (swamedikasi) dipraktekkan secara luas di seluruh dunia. Swamedikasi merupakan bagian dari upaya masyarakat untuk menjaga kesehatannya. Dalam prakteknya, pengobatan sendiri dapat menjadi sumber masalah terkait obat karena kurangnya pengetahuan tentang obat dan penggunaannya. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan peran apoteker dalam merekomendasikan obat bebas untuk membantu pasien mengatasi masalah kesehatannya.

Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui penilaian dan harapan dari pasien terhadap pelayanan apoteker terkait swamedikasi di apotek. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan.

Metode: Non eksperimental dengan pendekatan cross sectional melalui teknik pengambilan data consecutive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner kepada pasien yang mendapatkan pelayanan swamedikasi di tiga apotek di kota Bandung selama Maret-April 2018.

Hasil: Menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kepuasan pasien terhadap pelayanan swamedikasi di apotek sebesar 77,5%. Dan harapan pasien terhadap apoteker dalam pelayanan swamedikasi yaitu dapat memberikan solusi pilihan obat yang tepat, memastikan bahwa produk obat berasal dari sumber yang dapat dipercaya dan berkualitas baik, serta harus bekerja sama dengan tenaga kesehatan lain dalam mengidentifikasi dan menyelesaikan masalah kesehatan.

Simpulan: Dari penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Apoteker mendapatkan nilai persepsi yang baik terkait perannya dalam pelayanan swamedikasi di apotek.
