Abstract
Background: The community, as the primary target, is expected to provide rapid and appropriate treatment, with a high potential for encountering cardiac arrest victims in their immediate surroundings beyond the reach of healthcare workers. Therefore, community-based rescue is expected.
Purpose: To analyze the effect of Basic Life Support (BLS) demonstrations on improving the knowledge and skills of high school students.
Method: A systematic literature review was conducted. The search began with references from Google Scholar and Science Direct, including articles published between 2020 and 2025 related to BLS, skills, knowledge, and high school students.
Results: A total of 150 articles were included in the identification process, of which 10 met the inclusion criteria, consisting of journals published between 2020 and 2025, and journals with national and international accreditation (ISSN, ISBN, DOI).
Conclusion: Based on the search results, 10 journals reviewed were related to the effect of BLS demonstrations on improving the knowledge and skills of high school students. One of the factors causing lay people to fail in performing first aid is inadequate knowledge and skills regarding first aid for cardiac arrest victims.

Pendahuluan: Penanganan yang cepat dan tepat akan diwujudkan oleh masyarakat sebagai sasaran utama yang berpotensi tinggi menemukan korban henti jantung di lingkungan sekitar diluar jangkauan dari petugas kesehatan, sehingga diharapkan penyelamatan bantuan hidup dasar dari masyarakat.
Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Demonstrasi Bantuan Hidup Dasar (BHD) terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa SMA.
Metode: Penelitian Systematic Literature Review. Pencarian diawali dengan menemukan referensi dari database google scholar dan Sciencedirect, artikel yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2020-2025 terkait database Bantuan hidup dasar (BHD), keterampilan, pengetahuan, dan siswa SMA.
Hasil: Sebanyak 150 artikel yang masuk dalam proses identifikasi, 10 artikel diantaranya sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi yang terdiri dari jurnal yang dipublikasikan dalam kurun waktu 2020-2025, jurnal yang telah terakreditasi nasional dan internasional (ISSN, ISBN, DOI).
Simpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelusuran, 10 jurnal yang telah ditelaah terkait dengan pengaruh demonstrasi Bantuan Hidup Dasar (BHD) terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa SMA. Salah satu faktor penyebab masyarakat awam gagal dalam melakukan penyelamatan pertama disebabkan oleh pengetahuan dan kemampuan yang kurang memadai terkait pertolongan pertama korban henti jantung.
