Jantung Kecemasan Operasi Virtual Reality

Abstract

Background: One of the psychological aspects caused by surgery is anxiety. This is very important because it is related to the success of the surgery. So it is necessary to have non-pharmacological interventions that can be applied to reduce the level of patient anxiety using virtual reality.

Purpose: To provide an overview of the effectiveness of virtual reality interventions in reducing anxiety levels in heart surgery patients.

Method: The research design is a systematic review. Researchers used PICO and searched for articles related to virtual reality interventions in heart surgery patients. The databases used were Taylor & Francis, Springer Link, Science Direct, Scopus and Sage Journal. Researchers used the JBI tool to evaluate the articles.

Results: Of the eight articles, seven articles discussed the effectiveness of virtual reality in patients undergoing heart surgery and one article compared virtual reality with other therapies.

Conclusion: Virtual reality intervention is quite effective in reducing the anxiety levels of patients undergoing heart surgery and after the procedure.
