Hospital Management Strategic Management Strategic Planning
Abstract
Background: Effective hospital strategic management must consider various dimensions, ranging from human resources, finance, technology, to external collaboration. An integrated and data-driven approach is essential to create hospitals that are adaptive, innovative, and competitive amid an environment that continues to change.
Purpose: To analyze the hospital's strategic healthcare service plan.
Method: This research design uses a literature review that summarizes and analyzes the results of related studies. The article search was conducted using three main electronic databases, namely PubMed, ProQuest, and Google Scholar using the keywords ‘Strategic Management, AND Strategic Planning AND Hospital Management.’
Results: Studies show that the success of hospital development is greatly influenced by the organization's ability to implement strategic management comprehensively and sustainably. An integrated approach involving human resource development, digital transformation, service efficiency, leadership strengthening, and organizational performance evaluation is an important factor in creating hospitals that are adaptive, innovative, and competitive.
Conclusion: Studies show that the success of hospital development is greatly influenced by the organization's ability to implement strategic management comprehensively and sustainably. An integrated approach involving human resource development, digital transformation, service efficiency, leadership strengthening, and organizational performance evaluation is an important factor in creating hospitals that are adaptive, innovative, and competitive.
