Dehidrasi Hidrasi Ibu Hamil Smart Hydration Bottle Teknologi Kesehatan

Abstract

Background: Pregnancy is a period that requires special attention to nutritional and fluid intake. However, many pregnant women who work face difficulties in maintaining adequate hydration due to busy activities and the lack of proper fluid monitoring. Dehydration may negatively impact both maternal and fetal health; therefore, technological innovations are needed to support fluid intake fulfillment.

Pupose: To develop and implement a Smart Hydration Bottle equipped with sensors and a digital application to automatically and in real-time monitor daily fluid consumption among working pregnant women.

Method: A Research and Development (R&D) approach, including product design, prototype testing, and effectiveness evaluation among 20 pregnant women. Data on fluid consumption were collected through pre-test and post-test measurements and analyzed using the Paired Sample t-Test.

Results: The results showed a significant increase in average fluid intake from 1.550 ml/day before the intervention to 2.050 ml/day after the intervention (p < 0.05). User responses toward Smart Hydration Bottle features were highly positive, with an acceptance rate of more than 90% for ease of use, automatic recording, drink reminder notifications, and hydration charts.

Conclusion: These findings indicate that the Smart Hydration Bottle is effective in improving hydration compliance among working pregnant women.
