Akurasi Deteksi Tuberculosis Oral Inovasi Teknologi Canggih Tuberculosis

Abstract

Background: Unknowingly, many tuberculosis (TB) patients visit dentists for examinations. TB can be detected in dental practices, appearing as an oral manifestation that is rarely diagnosed without TB symptoms.

Purpose: To describe the development of advanced technology-based oral tuberculosis detection: a comprehensive review of recent innovations to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of tuberculosis (TB) diagnosis and control.

Method: This study is a narrative review aimed at providing a comprehensive understanding of oral tuberculosis (TB) detection and the role of advanced technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), in improving diagnostic accuracy and effectiveness. This method was conducted by collecting and compiling various research findings, case reports, and scientific studies relevant to the topic of oral TB and technological innovation in the medical world.

Results: This study found that asymptomatic TB is often found in some patients, but they complain of unusual changes in the oral cavity, such as ulcers, osteomyelitis, and sore throat.

Conclusion: Diagnosing TB lesions and disease using the latest technology is fast, effective, and accurate to determine appropriate treatment immediately.
